DAVE DUNNING
PRESIDENT
Dave founded Legend Theatrical in 1996 starting out providing scenic design and construction along with lighting design. Since those early years he has continued to work as a designer in corporate, theatrical, broadcast, architectural and permanent installations, all the while growing Legend into a company which sees itself working across the country on a variety of projects and a production department that handles everything from dry hire to full blown production services. Dave is always eager to make new relationships and pursue ways to grow and expand the business in ways that focus on customers needs.
MATTHEW GORDON
PROJECT MANAGER
Matt has been with Legend since 2004. He started as an intern working in the shop. Over the years he has worked in many different positions for the company. He was first involved in scenic construction & rentals, followed by working on permanent installations. Matt currently works as the installations manager, handling estimating and project management.
ROGER S.
SHOP MANAGER
Roger has been with Legend Theatrical since 2005 starting off as a case pusher. He now heads up our fabrication shop and manages prep and purchasing for many of our installations. He has gained invaluable knowledge of our industry and often handles complete in field operations when needed.
MAT B.
FOREMAN
Mat has years of experience managing construction installation. He has handled automated rigging, counter weight rigging, dead hung systems, stretch grids and pipe grids. Along with specialty steel fabrication for many of these projects. He also has great experience in audio and video wiring and installation. He is a superb manager of a job site and will ensure the task gets done right!
STEVE S.
RENTAL ASSOCIATE
Steve joined the company in 2014 and has been an invaluable asset in our rental and repair department. He is one of the initial points of contact in arranging rentals and helping customers with their rental or production needs. An avid musician and sound guy he can help walk customers through the gear needs of their events with the knowledge of an actual user. He is also worked many years as an electrician and generator mechanic. This knowledge has been a great benefit on show site, as well as, quickly and efficiently handle repairs both in house and for customer equipment.
ZACH S.
WAREHOUSE/INSTALLER
Zach is a jack of all trades. He helps manage activities in the warehouse, primarily on the fabrication side of the building and helps keep things organized working with our vendors on keeping the supplies stocked and in order. He also finds his way out into the field to help on installations when additional personnel is needed.
